RIR Music Retreat Special Guest Speaker: Doc Holladay was voted among the top three singer/songwriters in Nashville 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015 Nashville Scene "Best Of Nashville" readers poll, and has become one of the most in-demand talents around.
Doc has shared the stage with acts such as Brad Paisley, Pam Tillis, Jimmie Van Zant, Beth Nielsen Chapman, Trick Pony, Charlie Daniels, Nickle Creek, Tiffany, Sweethearts of The Rodeo, Tim McGraw, and Buddy Jewell. While primarily an Americana and Country writer he’s worked and wrote with pop stars such as "Tiffany", Southern Rock icon Jimmie Van Zant, and even with members of legendary rock groups such as Cinderella, Warrant, Tesla, The Babys, and others.
Personally, Doc has been drug and alcohol free since 2007, and has overcome many obstacles and addictions. He shares his music and recovery experiences at numerous drug and alcohol treatment centers, retreats and conventions with the goal of sharing the message of recovery, hope, and the mantra "miracles happen, and redemption is always possible!"
