RIR Music Retreat Schedule

Dear Friends,

October 18-20, 2019 This All Inclusive 3 Day 2 Night RIR Music Retreat will be held at The Life Enrichment Retreat Center in Fruitland Park, Florida on beautiful Lake Griffin. There is a limited number of reservations available.

3 Day 2 Night On Site Room Accommodations Motel Style Rooms on beautiful Lake Griffin - Buildings #1-4 (See Map Below) - All meals are included with your package, all meal times are at designated time in onsite cafeteria. Snacks and cold beverages will be included in your package throughout the weekend at the RIR Cafe.

Music Retreat Check in is starts at 3pm, you can also stop by the 24 Hour onsite RIR Cafe Which Also Opens At 3pm Friday and Closes Sunday at 3pm.

8:30pm - Special Guest Speaker: Tony Marossie, Founder of the Recovery Band Selfish Steam and 2009 Prism Award Song Of The Year.

Saturday October 19 Schedule:

12am- 3am - RIR Coffee House Open Mic and Speakers

7:30am -  lakeside morning meeting

7:30am- Yoga In the courtyard

7:30am - Guided music meditation In the main auditorium

Starting 10am Saturday At RIR Coffee House 

Live RIR Unplugged Performances 

8:30am -9:30am Breakfast in the cafeteria

10:30am - 6pm -  Arts and Crafts, Merchandise Vendors, Evidence Based Addiction Recovery Modalities, Massage, Fishing, Field Games, Basketball , Nature Hike, Frisbee golf, along with other fun activities available throughout the day. (See schedule in program)

12pm -1pm Lunch (served in the cafeteria)  

1pm Live Bands Main Auditorium (45 Minute Sets)

7pm - Special Guest Speaker: Mike Mizwinski (MiZ) -  MiZ has a great message of hope. Directly because of MiZ’s continued hard work on his recovery, He’s gone on in his musical career to opened for and or play with: America, The Wallflowers, Derek Trucks Band, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Blues Travelers, The Late Leon Russell, and many more.

8pm - Special Guest Speaker: Doc Holladay (Singer-Songwriter) Doc Holladay was voted among the top three singer/songwriters in Nashville 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015 Nashville Scene "Best Of Nashville" readers poll, and has become one of the most in-demand  talents around. Doc has shared the stage with acts such as Brad Paisley, Pam Tillis, Jimmie Van Zant, Beth Nielsen Chapman,  Trick Pony, Charlie Daniels, Nickle Creek, Tiffany, Sweethearts of The Rodeo, Tim McGraw, and Buddy Jewell. While primarily an Americana and Country writer he’s worked and wrote with pop stars such as "Tiffany", Southern Rock icon Jimmie Van Zant, and even with members of legendary rock groups such as Cinderella, Warrant, Tesla, The Babys, and others.

Personally, Doc has been drug and alcohol free since 2007, and has overcome many obstacles and addictions. He shares his music and recovery experiences at numerous drug and alcohol treatment centers, retreats and conventions with the goal of sharing the message of recovery, hope, and the mantra "miracles happen, and redemption is always possible!"

12am-3am the RIR Coffee House Will Host Open Mic for Singer/Songwriters, comedians, and poets.

2am -  Gratitude Bonfire Meeting by the lake

7:30am -  Lakeside morning meeting
